Index Gardens Three baskets, one honest rule.

The BLOK Capital indices, BLOKC2, BLOKC5 and BLOKC10, are three fixed baskets of tokens on Arbitrum, weighted by market cap, priced by Chainlink and rebalanced on-chain. Nobody picks the weights by hand; the contract does the maths in public.

Every component, the oracle that prices it and the token the Garden would hold. Prices are read live from Chainlink on Arbitrum.

BLOKC5

Five DeFi blue chips

Chainlink's oracles, Uniswap's exchange, Aave's lending market, Arbitrum itself and Pendle's fixed yield: five protocols much of on-chain finance runs through, weighted by market cap.

Base assets, then the DeFi stack.

BLOKC2 holds Bitcoin and Ether. BLOKC5 holds five DeFi blue chips, and BLOKC10 holds those five plus five more. No token in BLOKC2 appears in the other two.

Fewer components means fewer weights to keep in line. We won't publish volatility or return figures until there's real history to measure.

Methodology

How the weights are set.

Four steps, all on-chain. Because weights follow market caps, a price move changes a holding and its target together, so an index rarely needs to trade.

  1. 01

    Price

Each component's USD price is read from its Chainlink feed on Arbitrum.

  2. 02

    Size

Price × circulating supply gives each market cap. Supply is the one input that isn't an oracle: an authorised account posts it on-chain.

  3. 03

    Weigh

Each weight is that market cap's share of the total. Nobody sets a weight by hand.

  4. 04

    Floor

Any weight under 0.01% is raised to 0.01% so no component drops out, then all weights are rescaled to sum to 100%.
