Why BLOKC2 looks like this.

For someone who wants crypto exposure and nothing exotic.

The two largest crypto assets, weighted by their market capitalisation. If Bitcoin is worth four times what Ether is, the index holds four times as much of it, in value.

  • Two assets means very little to rebalance: weights move only when BTC and ETH move relative to each other.
  • Market-cap weighting follows the market; it doesn't try to beat it.
  • Components as confirmed by the BLOK Capital team. Weights aren't listed: they're recomputed on-chain from market caps and move with the market. Any change to the component list needs DAO approval.

Nobody sets a weight by hand: each is a component's share of the basket's total market cap (circulating supply × Chainlink price), recomputed on-chain at most hourly.

Gardens following BLOKC2 rebalance together in one pooled trade, at most daily, and only for assets more than 2% off target. A trade that would lose more than 0.5% of value reverts.
